Hey y’all! I’m Ashtyn Foddrell—a Virginia-raised, North Carolina-living, southern girl who loves laid-back country living where rustic charm meets a little bit of luxury. I’ve always balanced the best of both worlds- sweet tea on the porch and champagne to celebrate.

Backyard Bar-bie is where down-home country meets upscale celebration—a mobile bar experience designed to bring people together, toast to life’s best moments, and serve up unforgettable vibes. When I’m not mixing drinks and making memories, I’m working with my local police department, building relationships between law enforcement and the community, and advocating for those in need—because everyone deserves a fair shot at success.

Are you insured?
Of course! We carry General Liability and Liquor Liability Insurance.

What types of events do you service?
You name it and we do it! Weddings, Engagement parties, Bridal Showers, Birthday Parties, Corporate events, Private parties, kid’s birthday parties (hello, lemonade or hot chocolate), Tailgates- anything your heart desires!

Do you provide bartenders?
Yes! Depending on the size of your event, we will provide 1-2 bartenders.

Can the bar go inside?
Yes, as long as the entryway can accommodate the dimensions and the truck to pull it. Backyard Bar-bie is 16ft long, 7ft tall and 8ft wide.

What drinks do you serve?
Whatever you want! We can serve beer, wine, prosecco, mixed drinks, ad crafty cocktails. We can also make mocktails.

Do you sell or provide alcohol?
As much as we would love to, Virginia and North Carolina ABC laws prevent us from providing or selling alcohol. We serve alcohol that is supplied by the event organizer. We will help you calculate exactly how much alcohol is needed based on hours of service and expected number of guests. We will also provide you a detailed shopping list to help you prepare for your event. Good news though, it saves you tons of money buying your own alcohol!
Do you have to serve alcohol?
No! We can serve mocktails, craft lemonades, or almost any other drink you can think of.
Where are you located?
We are located in Burlington, North Carolina, but are always up for a good road trip. We service all of Virginia and North Carolina.
What technical requirements does the bar need?
We need a flat, open area for set up and service. We are fully equipped for electricity, we just need a standard plug in. If you are unable to provide one (which we prefer), we can bring a generator.
Do you have a rain policy?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the booking, we do not offer rain dates. Expecting rain at your event? We can work with the host to provide the perfect size tent!
Can we rent Backyard Bar-bie for Photoshoots?
YES! The trailer is available for photographers to rent for photoshoots. Email us for more info.
What is required to secure my date?
Once you’ve sent us an inquiry, and we’ve settled on the details, a signed contract and 50% deposit is required to make it official.
